The high-flying heroes of Marvel comics are set to become the high-flying luchadores of the ring, with the new Lucha Libre collection from Funko!

 

Lucha Libre is Mexico’s own form of professional wrestling, a genre of the sport characterised by colourful masks, rapid sequences of holds, and a high-flying manoeuvres. Steeped in cultural significance, the mask of a Luchador is colourfully designed to evoke images of animals, gods and ancient heroes whose identity the luchador takes on during a contest. The wrestlers of Marvel: Lucha Libre are no different, with these elite wrestlers taking on the identity of some of Marvel’s greatest heroes and villains!
